We aim to enhance ice skating at Guildford and to provide support and development opportunities for skaters of all ages and levels in achieving their personal goals.
We want to supplement and reinforce coaching, to engender a sense of camaraderie, collaboration and friendship.
We want our skaters to achieve great things.
In practice, this means a well-rounded programme of activities including skills training, competition experience, performance experience, interaction with the broader skating world and the chance, where possible, to work as a team.
Our club activities will reflect our skating membership base. We aim to prevent skaters giving up through lack of opportunity.
We also aim to provide a positive atmosphere among our skater supporters (namely parents and carers) and provide social opportunities for friendship and support.
